Butterfly beach does not have any accommodation & can be reached by hired boat or a hired kayak if you feel adventurous. You can also hire a boat to go birding on the Backwaters which are located on North side of Palolem. Early morning would be a great time for Birding.
The isolation is a blessing in disguise as the island offers visitors a solitary charm and the thrills of any other Goan beach sans the overcrowded stretches of shorelines. The dolphins are extra acrobatic in the waters surrounding the island.
